Another special card ordered.

So my dear friend asked me for yet another birthday card for her bestie. She wanted to give her a special card and she has been so pleased with the other cards she ordered.

Here is a sneak peak on what I am doing. The digi and background is both from KennyK stamps.

Anyways, until next time…. Rock on…I mean craft on😝

Special cup

I have done this special coffee mug/cup for a teacher. Can you guess what he teaches?? Yes, he his a PE teacher as well as cooking teacher who loves Liverpool.

I have hand drawn all of the images with a porcelain pen and then finished it off in the oven. The soccer boy is a Magnolia stamp, but the rest is on free hand. Now he has a special cup/mug that is his, I also put his last name on the back, so no one can steal it.

Anyways, until next time…….craft on

My first Monochromatic

Another week has started and another challenge at The Outlawz Monday Greetings Challenge.

So, this week we have a challenge, and I will tell you that what a challenge it was for me. The theme this week is Monochromatic – using one color, but different shades are allowed.

I have never done this type of coloring before so I had to test it out on different shades and I think I made about six different butterflies to see which one to use. Finally I was happy with the brown shades and went with this one.

This week challenge digi sponsor is My Stich Back In Twine and I choose the Butterfly 1 image for the challenge.

I will leave you with my card and I would be very grateful if you would comment what you think of this card.

Anyways, until next time ……. craft on

Twisted Thursday

Twisted Thursday over at The Outlawz has my two boys as their GDTs this week. They got two images to color in and I let them color them the way they wanted. They then told me how the cards layout should be and I helped them a little bit to cut the papers, some was already done and was laying in my cut out box so they could choose themselves.

I think they did a fantastic job, and they love to color just like their mama. Guess they got something good from my side, hi hi hi.

Would be very grateful if you would leave a comment of what you think about they boys cards so I can tell them what others think. I will just let you enjoy the cards.

Anyways, until next time ………. craft on.

My son Gabrie’s card, he is 6 years old and loves sport and to do crafts once in awhile. He plays soccer, which I am also the coach for. Loves to watch all kind of sports, everything from soccer, handball, ice-hockey to… you name it.

Daniel is my oldest son who turns 10 yrs old in November. He loves music and plays french horn. He is a very special kid, he is very figurative. Has been so since young age. You could never skip a page in the bedtime story because he would tell you exactly what was on the page and what it was all about.

My first time hosting a challenge

So a new week has become us and you know what that means, Monday Greeting Challenge.

This week I am the host and this weeks theme is: Amazing Green – add some green. The DTs got sponsored by Andrea over at the Moonflower.

I think that the DTs did a terrific job in making this weeks challenge card. I hope you will join in on the fun too.

Anyways, until next time…. Craft on

Another Birthday Card

I got another  request for a birthday card. This time for a little girl who turned 1 years old. The person ordering it was the girls auntie and a old co worker to me.

She had seen an image she liked so it was easier to do the card. I had a vision in my head on how I would make it.

I had found the background paper at my local craft store for another craft and figured I would use it for this card as well.

The only request she had was to make the card so she could write something in it. She have written poems to her since she was born. I made the card so she could write a lot.

Hope you like it and please comment.

Anyways, until next time….. Craft on

Birthday card

Hello again,

So, a friend of mine asked me if I could make a special card for her mother who turned 60 years old. They where going to give her a trip to London so if I could incorporate this on the card it was very appreciated. So, millions of thoughts and millions of images that I had in mind, but in the end I used Magnolia stamp.

I wanted to make it so London inspired as possible. I tried to find different type of embellishments and papers but it was hard to find here in Sweden, if I wanted I had to order from outside the country, most of the findings was from the UK. Then I bought a crafting magazine and I got embossing folder and other London inspired theme with the magazine.. It was like someone new that I was struggling with finding images and embellishments for this card.

I had my two images from Magnolia colored in quickly and then I found a flag on the internet and the rest I have from either the magazine or I had a embossing die with London theme that I had bought from a site on Facebook. So I got started on getting the card ready. I am not much for a lot on a card, I am more of a CAS card girl (CAS=Clean And Simple)

I asked my friend what her mother thought of the gifts and she told me that her mother loved my card and have had it framed already. It made me so proud of myself that she loved it so much. My friend had even told her mom as a joke, that it would have been enough with just giving her the card. Hi hi hi.

As I made another card for her shortly after she said she gladly pay a little extra and get a handmade card then to go to the store and buy a mass produced card. She said it’s more personal and feels good to give something that one have giving time and effort to make. That made me feel really good.

I will leave you with a picture of the London themed birthday card for my friends mother.

Anyways, until next time ……craft on.

New week, new image.

New week and of course a new challenge over at Monday Greetings, The Outlawz. This weeks challenge is Anything Goes, since it is the last week of the month. Come and join in on the fun and maybe be the weeks winner.

This week I have used an image from Lacy Sunshine “Jamie Golfing” and I actually challenged myself to do background. I have not yet taken any classes over at the Kit and Clowder, but I will certainly start taking some to get better in doing backgrounds as well.

Why don’t you show us our Anything Goes for this week.
