If you haven’t heard of the The Outlawz Challenge you should check out their website. They have different challenges for different days as well as a progressive challenge with a free freebie of the month. This is my 2nd month entering and it’s fun to do something like this for every month. You get the image for free the first time and if you enter into the challenge that month you will automatically get the next months image. If you forget to enter one month you can reenter but you have to buy the image and then you will get the next months for free again. I have also been doing some drawings on glasses, love to do something and give as a gift. It’s more personal and it is more fun to give something you have made with your own hands and design. These glasses are a birthday gift for a relative that turns 60 years old. My mother said what she wanted and I research and got a good image she liked. So the card and the glasses are for a relative, what do you think of my card and crafts? Please comment.
Been looking at some old picture in my computer and have found some neat drawings from when I started coloring with my Promarkers.
At first I just found a coloring page for kids and printed some image and then I got more and more into different digi stamps. I also found out that all of the stamps where not legally put on the internet. For instance the magnolia stamps you will find by just searching magnolia stamps on Google are not legally put there. Most digi stamp companies has Angel Policy, which means that you are only allowed to use purchased images from the original drawer. There are more to the Policy but I will not list them all here since they can be a bit different from company to company.
Anyways, I found a scrapbooking group that where selling stamps and other things and found a few Magnolia (I just love Magnolia stamps) and started to draw them up and making cards.
Below are a few pictures of my early drawings and cards that I have made.
I think I will reprint the Redunkulousdesign digi again and see if I have improved in my drawing skills. I will be updating with a new picture to see see if there are any differences.
Until next time
I see myself as an very creative person and have been since younger years. I have always done different things. I have been drawing when young, to learning how to develop your own pictures in colors as well as in black and white. Sawing my own clothes and even went to a design school to learn how to saw and vow.
I guess I have gotten my creative side from my own mother, she has been doing a lot as well. When I was a child I remember she was knitting/crocheting clothes for my Barbie dolls and my other bigger dolls. She has been doing cross-stitching paintings as well as drawing on baskets, and other households items.
I can sit for hours and just be in my creative bubble and create different crafts, everything from a card, a painting, a knitted blanket, re-paint furniture or other household items to do coffee filter flowers. I have for the longest asked myself if I should start my own company in the craft industry of some sort.
Anyways, I will leave you with a picture of a coffee filter rose and some jewelry that I have made myself.
I don’t know how I found out about promarkers, but when I did I wanted to learn everything about it. I searched on google and YouTube and found loads of tutorials and info and got hooked. I bought a set to try them out and I got so surprised on how good these pens where and why I haven’t heard of them before. This was a whole new world for me and more was to come and more to learn. I started to buy some more sets so I was able to draw after some of the tutorials I had found on YouTube. I then started to search on Facebook for groups that had Promarkers, and found a few that I joined. I quickly realized that there where no group in Swedish so I started my own group – Promarkers Pyssel – and started to share my group on different Swedish crafting groups. I also in the same time started to learn all about stamps and this world is enormous. So many different stamps are available out there, and challenges, freebies and what not.
I am so happy that I found the wonderful Promarkers pens and that it opened up a whole new world for me that I love and can sit for hours and do. Soon I will try to save money so I can buy different classes to learn more about how to color with these lovely pens so I will be even better at it. I think that you can never be fully taught on something, there are always other things to learn or to get better at.
Today we have celebrated Midsummer so I am over and out for today.
Today I’m so tired. Me and my boys went to an amusement park called Astrid Lindgrens Värld (world). Here they have built up many of Astrid’s characters she has been writing about and their houses. In the park they have people that plays scenes from the different books. For instance they have Pippi Longstocking, that so many have have heard of.
On Saturday was a special day as well, our Prins Carl Philip got married to his Sophia. It was a wonderful wedding with good music etc. I was glued to the tv most of the day where we could follow what happened in Stockholm, and see the guest arriving for the church and all. Since it was such a beautiful wedding and all I wanted to try to color a wedding couple so I put Tilda and Edwin in their clothes and stamped them on some paper.
Since the bus ride to the amusement park is a couple of hours I was occupied to color, it was a bit difficult to draw black suit but I think I managed pretty good. I also think it’s a bit difficult to get the right shades on Tilda’s white gown so it wouldn’t look dirty.
Anyways, below is the picture of the finished stamp, I just need to find a good way to put it on a card now.
Thanks for peeking in and reading my blog, pls comment what you think about my coloring.
